Sequence-structure alignment between PhaC1P.sp USM 4–55 (PhaC1_Seq) and 1HLG (1HLGA_seq) generated by 3DPSSM. The filled vertical regions represent the catalytic site for both PhaC1P.sp USM 4–55 and 1HLG with their catalytic residues align with each other. The filled boxes represent the aligned secondary structural elements between the two proteins and the blank boxes showed the regions containing loop or random coils also aligned very well between the proteins. (PhaC1_PSS – Consensus secondary structure prediction for PhaC1P.sp USM 4–55; 1HLGA_SS – Secondary structure of 1HLG)
